Job seekers create an account and complete a profile describing their work history, job skills, other relevant work experiences and employment availability date.
Employers Create an Account
Employers create an account and post jobs. Each job posting costs $500 and will stay on the website for 30 days.

We are available to answer any additional questions you may have and provide a detailed overview of how the process works.
Benefits to Employer for Giving a Second Chance
Second Chance Placement serves as a conduit between offenders reentering the workforce and employers willing to give them a second chance. There are significant incentives available to businesses to employ ex-offenders:
Work Opportunity Tax Credit
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit offers up to $2,400 in Federal Tax Credits for hiring an individual who in the past 12 months has either been convicted of a felony or has been released from incarceration.
Tax Deduction
The State of Iowa offers a tax deduction of 65% of an ex-offenders first 12 months’ salary up to $20,000.
Federal Bonding Program
The Federal Bonding program provides up to $25,000 for people hired to cover costs in the event of dishonesty.
